Paper tests. If you still miss rummaging through the stationery in Woolworths, pay a visit to Shepherds Bookbinders in Victoria. More paper stocks than you can dream about! Uncoated and not meant for inkjet printers, but some produce lovely soft-tone monochrome images. But make sure you test ;-).

Fritillaria meleagris or Snakeshead fritillary. Three colour gum bichromate print on watercolour paper.
Always a bit nervous folding nearly 3 metres of paper! I made the first of these concertina books in 2014, illustrating the Wordsworth poem “Upon Westminster Bridge”. (Top left). This was a one off. I made three more recently, this time illustrating another Wordsworth poem, “Remembrance of Collins” (Top right). Both are linked to the Thames, and are part of evolving photo ideas with connections to the river.
Finally finished another concertina or leporello book just before Christmas. An interesting experiment for me, trying to illustrate the Wordsworth poem ‘Upon Westminster Bridge’ with a mix of old and new technology.
The full set of polymer gravure prints or photo etchings I have been making at East London Printmakers over the last few months. They will be included in the Wildlings exhibition at Oxford House, Bethnal Green.
