Nice to have the cover of this month’s Gardeners’ World magazine, with their Gardens of the Year competition issue. Congratulations to all the lovely folk I met en-route in a slightly mad 8 day dash across the UK from Kent, Hampshire, Wales, up to the Lake District, Scotland and finally to the Orkney Islands. And thanks for all the 5am cups of coffee, bacon sandwiches and chocolate biscuits to keep me going…I promise, I wasn’t a judge!

From a shoot last summer, a lovely layout in the latest issue of SAGA Magazine, illustrating the work of rose grower, Rosebie Morton. Some out-takes too, as there is never enough room for all the shots taken for a feature.
This afternoon I received an advance copy of the book I shot with Katie Rushworth and Tara O’Sullivan last summer. Really pleased!
A selection from a shoot at a gardening course hosted by Fergus Garrett at Great Dixter.
Just finished making my first hand-bound ‘leporello’ book, with words by Alys Fowler. For a collaborative project currently entitled ‘Wildlings’, which will include work from various folk, including paintings by Lynn Keddie. I’ll post updates as the project develops. From the Oxford English Dictionary, “Wilding or Wildling..a plant sown by natural agency”.
I was sent these two Polaroids yesterday……me as an assistant photographer in 1985! This time in front of the lens as a model for a feature about hay fever. Thanks to Mike Valente for these.
